Broomfield Vibes

With convenient access via I-25 and Hwy 36, Broomfield is about 25 minutes north of Denver and about 15 minutes east of Boulder. It is the 2nd most densely populated city in the Denver area (Denver is the most). It is a newer city when compared to Denver and Boulder, people didn’t really start moving here until about 15-20 years ago.

According to niche.com, Broomfield is rated an A overall. Part of that rating is the schools. Rated the #1 best school district in the Denver area, Broomfield is served largely by the Boulder Valley School District.

Home Price Statistics Although Broomfield is home to some very expensive homes, the median list price comes in around $565k, and that is due the wide variety of options available. You can expect single family home prices to range from about $360k all the way up to around $8m. In terms of condos/townhomes, the barrier for entry is about $300k and up.


Pros + Cons

Pros:

  • Close to a lot of conveniences

  • Close to Boulder and Denver, but has slightly lower prices

  • Some of the best schools in Colorado

  • In certain parts, Broomfield has beautiful views of the mountains and the downtowns

  • Relatively affordable home prices available

Cons:

  • Boilerplate suburban vibes - if you’re looking for city vibes, Broomfield may not be for you

  • Traffic - not fun during rush hour

  • More of a gripe, but boy the borders of Broomfield are ridiculous
