Virginia Village Vibes
A cozier neighborhood with plenty of mid-century modern single-family homes. Historically, amenities have been limited - however, as the neighborhood has grown that is changing with more walkable blocks and plans for more spots to eat, drink, shop, and socialize.
Home to around 20k residents, Virginia Village is located about 15 minutes southeast from downtown Denver and about 30 minutes from the airport. The neighborhood is bordered to the north by E Mississippi Ave, to the east is Cherry Creek, to the south is Evans Ave, and to the west is S Colorado Blvd.
According to niche.com, Virginia Village gets an A- overall and is ranked the 24th Best Place in Colorado for Young Professionals to live. Schools here are pretty decent, especially when you consider the home prices. Served by Denver Public Schools, most of the schools serving this neighborhood are good. There are two High Schools - Thomas Jefferson and South High Schools - both rated an A-*. There are also two Middle Schools - Merrill and Hill Campus of Arts & Sciences - both rated a B+*. And lastly, there are two Elementary Schools - McMeen and Ellis Elementary Schools - rated a B- and C- respectively*.
